Range Coffee Roasters is a specialty coffee roastery and sister brand to Range Leather, with the cafe and roastery headquarters located adjacent to the leather operations in downtown Laramie, WY. We're seeking a Head Coffee Roaster to assist in launching and overseeing our roasting operations and to help expand our wholesale business.
The role includes sourcing green coffee, executing and creating roast profiles, seasonal coffee development, roasting, packaging, and managing merchandise operations. You’ll lead coffee training for employees, train future production roasters and work closely with the owners and executive team to ensure quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction while growing our regional presence.
We’re looking for someone with at least 2 years of roasting experience and vast industry knowledge to pioneer our coffee roasting business. Ideal candidates should be organized, adaptable, and comfortable roasting across a spectrum of light to medium-dark profiles. Technical skills for maintaining our new Loring S15 roaster are a bonus and the roaster will be commissioned by Loring in February of 2025 which we hope to have this position participate in.
Pay: $50,000-$75,000 per year
